Workday pulls a report for those people who are due to re-take the course and then assigns the Program containing the course to them. The Program settings do not recognize previous completions and users are required to take course again course. The details are of three digital courses of the scenario described above are below:
Course ID & Title | Audience | Frequency | Campaign Title |
HR29 - Ciena Safety Awareness Course | Employees in Israel | Every year | HR29: Safety Awareness - Annual Israel (2) |
HR29 - Ciena Safety Awareness Course | Employees in Germany | Every 2 years | HR29: Safety Awareness - BI-Annual Germany |
HR35 - Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace (Employee Edition) | Employees in California | Every 2 years | HR35: BI-Annual CA Harassment-EMP (2) |
HR37 - Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace (Supervisor Edition) | Managers in California | Every 2 years | HR37: BI-Annual CA Harassment-MGR |
In any of the above case we need to perform these troubleshooting steps:
- Look at the person’s Training History and determine if they have already completed the course and also determine their office location.
You can see the above completions are two years apart. |
|
- If they have completed the course in the past and it appears that they might be required to take the course again based on the table above, you can generate a campaign report to see if they were assigned an annual or bi-annual campaign. Follow the instructions shown in the attached document.
- Then, you can Drop them from the course if:
- they were not assigned the course as an annual or bi-annual requirement
- they are not a new hire
- they are not re-hire.
If a person is a Re-hire, they will have two “hire” dates in their profile with the dates being more than 1 month apart.
